Protection of Your Reception Data

If you connect with the MHKauthor (GL) by way of your Message in the Reception (see WindowPane 4), GL collects all data (eMail address & Message) that you enter into the two fields in order to be able to answer you. The computer records your device address (“IP address”) and the “user-agent string” (thus GL’s computer recognizes your “browser”), so that GL’s computer can distinguish your Sending from Spam. The further comprehensive collection (see below) of your data is imposed upon GL by the usual exchange of data between computer systems, i.e. Data-protection regulations monitor this international exchange of data. All this lies outside GL’s sphere, who only outlines this earth-wide interconnection in a preliminary manner below. The CultureMankind will know – by means of the SenseScience (MHK) – how to regulate this matter differently.

Further Clarification regarding the handling of your data according to European Data Protection

hCaptcha

GL’s eHome uses the “anti-spam system” hCaptcha. The service provider is the US company Intuition Machines Inc., 350 Alabama St, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA.

hCaptcha and Intuition Machines process data relation to you, including in the USA. Intuition Machines is an active participant in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which regulates the proper and secure transfer of personal data of EU citizens to the USA.

More information about the data processed through the use of hCaptcha can be found in the privacy policy at https://www.hcaptcha.com/privacy.

Storage and Processing of Your Personal Data

If you connect with the MHKauthor (GL) by way of your Message in the Reception (see WindowPane 4),  GL stores your data until you request its deletion. The server company (see below) stores your metadata (see below) without time limitation. Of course, GL does not pass your data on to any third party.

Collection of General Data and Information

Each time GL’s eHome is accessed, a number of general data and pieces of information are collected. These general data and pieces of information are stored in the server log files of GL’s hosting provider Ionos (see below). In ordinary language, the following are collected:

  • the browser types and versions used,
  • the operating system used by the accessing computer,
  • the website from which an accessing computer reaches GL’s website,
  • the sub-websites accessed through an accessing computer on GL’s website,
  • the date and time of access to the website,
  • the IP address,
  • the internet service provider of the accessing computer, and
  • other similar data and information serving the protection against dangers in the event of attacks on GL’s IT systems.

When using these general data and pieces of information, GL’s computer draws no conclusions about you or other visitors. Rather, these informations are required in order to deliver and improve the contents of GL’s eHome correctly, to ensure the long-term functioning of its technical systems, and to provide law-enforcement authorities with information necessary for prosecution in the event of a cyberattack. The anonymous data of the server log files are stored separately from all personal data provided by you.

Security

Your data are transmitted in encrypted form and stored on secured systems.
GL’s server company (see below) endeavors to comply with all security standards and to store your processed data as securely as possible.

Your Right to Information and Deletion of Your Personal Data

You have the right to information concerning and/or deletion of your data processed by GL’s computer. In such a case, please write to GL by email

Web Hosting

GL uses the web-hosting provider Ionos. The service provider is the German company IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, D-56410 Montabaur, Germany. The Ionos data-protection guidelines can be found at: https://www.ionos.de/terms-gtc/datenschutzerklaerung/

Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly neither be attributed to his commercial activity nor to his independent professional activity. In the case of this eHome, you as a Consumer are a Buyer of the MHKbook (see WindowPane 4).

Instruction Concerning the Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without stating reasons.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (PeacePublisher, Prof. Dr. Gerhard Langer, Austria, ePost address: friedeverlag@gerhardlanger-menschenheilkunde.org) by means of a clear declaration (eMail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including delivery costs, without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we shall use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless something different has been expressly agreed with you. In no case will you be charged any fees because of this reimbursement.

We may refuse reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs earlier.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you informed us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You are liable for any diminished value of the goods only if such diminished value results from handling the goods beyond what is necessary to examine their nature, characteristics and functioning.
